What’s Happening?

Greetings: The Last Supper: Jesus knew that His time on earth had ended. He wanted to show His disciples what to do with love + power. He took off His robe of authority + washed their feet. The way up is down.

Jesus - the most powerful person in the room - used His power to serve. As a Christian - you're always the most powerful person in the room -
the Spirit of God lives in you. What are you doing with the power?

Greetings: When thinking about power - we may think of heads of countries - owners - wealth - status - etc. But in reality - all of us have power in some area of influence. The question: How do we use it?

Pilate told Jesus: Don't you realize that I have the power to release you or kill you? Pilate caved in to pressure + used his power to kill Jesus. Jesus used His power to do what only He could do - die for the sins of man.

EPH.1:19-20 I pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe in Him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead.

Greetings Crossfire Family: Thanking God that we dodged a bullet with this storm.

It is so weird being home on Sunday without seeing all of you this weekend. Missing our time together - looking forward to next weekend!

Devotions were good this morning - from Ephesians 1:

Paul said that God has blessed us with every spiritual blessing + purchased our freedom + forgave our sin by His grace + kindness thru the Blood of His Son Jesus Christ.

Paul prayed - not that we'd have more + more stuff - but - that we know God better + that our hearts would be flooded with light
(eradicate darkness) + that the the Holy Spirit will give us a confident hope of our upcoming inheritance. (eternal life)

The Holy Spirit in us demonstrates genuine faith - proves we are God's children - secures eternal life. His power works in us to transform us now - but it's only a taste of what we will be when we see Him face to face.

Well that's what we've been up to today. About to have some coffee and chill. God bless all of you - can't wait to see you guys next week. Blessings!

Dear Crossfire Church: It looks as though the uncertainty of this storm is too erratic to take any chances of being outside beginning Saturday. Just heard the pressure is dropping causing the storm to strengthen and the trajectory is still totally unknown. Your safety is of utmost importance to us - so please take all the precautions you can to stay out of harms way. Church services will be suspended for this weekend and resume next weekend - Sat 14th + Sun 15th
God bless all of you - praying that the Lord will protect and keep you. Please keep in touch with each other and check in with Jennifer Stevenson and/or this page for updated info.
